2 The London Motorcycle Show Sale 2023 Key Sale Information Please note – admission to the auction stand is by catalogue only. Catalogues will be available to purchase at the catalogue desk for £5 and each catalogue admits two. Viewing Viewing is available at the London ExCeL, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL as follows: Friday 17th February from 9am – 5pm Saturday 18th February from 9am until the auction commences at 1.30pm. Auction The Auction will commence at 1.30pm. There will be a one hour break from 3.30pm whilst the Supersprint takes place. The auction will recommence at 4.30pm and finish at approximately 6pm. The auctioneer will aim to sell approximately 30- 35 lots per hour. Event tickets The auction is part of the Devitt MCN London Motorcycle Show which is a ticketed event. Admission is not included in the price of the catalogue. Tickets can be purchased via the following link: mcnmotorcycleshow.seetickets.com . Buyer’s premium Like the majority of auctioneers, Silverstone Auctions charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motor vehicles is 12.5% + VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% + VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. VAT Some lots may be subject to VAT on the hammer and buyer’s premium and some may be subject to import VAT on the hammer only. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT- registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. Payments All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 20th February. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Please note our bank account details: sort code 20-98-87, account number 30223379. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted. Collection Please note all motorcycles must be removed from the ExCeL by midday on Monday 20th February due to venue restrictions. We are permitted to remove a limited number of motorcycles after the auction on Saturday (between 6pm – 8pm) and after the show closes on Sunday 19th February (between 5pm – 7pm). Please note Motorcycles cannot be removed from the hall during live event hours. All other motorcycles must be removed from the venue between 9am – 11am on Monday 20th February. Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery. Any motorcycles not collected by 11am on Monday 20th February will be taken to our transport partner’s facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £125 + VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 per day thereafter. A member of the administration team will contact you on Sunday 19th February to confirm your transport plans. If we do not hear back from you by 5pm that evening, we will arrange for our transport partner to collect the motorcycle on your behalf.
