Five examples were produced and all sold out within minutes. • Founded in Rimini in Italy in 1973 by Valerio Bianchi, Giuseppe Morri, and Massimo Tamburini • The first two letters of each surname created the name Bimota •Creating race-inspired frames and using various different manufacturers engines •Now owned by Kawasaki and are back at the forefront of technology and competition •Bimota decided to create a track-focused version of the road going Bimota KB998 Rimini superbike •Using the expertise of the factory Provec Racing team, Bimota created the KB998 Rimini Elite •Designed to deliver maximum performance and pure riding pleasure with only five examples being produced •Utilizing the best components available including Showa, Brembo, OZ Racing, Akrapovič, Pirelli, J.Juan, Taleo, Puig and GBRacing, along with bespoke parts engineered by Provec Racing •All five bikes sold out instantly with no future examples scheduled • This example is the prototype ‘Track Days’ used to develop the Elite, raced at Jerez in the Spanish Superbike Championship round by Tito Rabat on 8/9 November 2025 finishing in third place •Subject to an engine rebuild and fitted with new body panels and comes complete with stand, spare sprockets and computer connections •Complete with framed Certificate of Authenticity
