6 BUYER’S GUIDE BIDDING You can bid in person, online, via commission or on the telephone. However you choose to bid you will need to provide Photo ID and proof of address (EG: a photo driving licence OR a passport and utility bill). ID is valid for a period of 12 months. Bidding in the room Nothing beats the excitement and adrenaline rush of bidding in person at a live auction. Please head to the registration desk to register and obtain a bidding paddle. If you wish to bid during the auction, raise your hand or paddle. Commission bids A commission bid is the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to (excluding the buyer’s premium and VAT). The Auctioneer will execute your bid as low as possible on your behalf. You can register in person when viewing the lots prior to the auction, via our website or by emailing bid@iconicauctioneers.com Telephone bidding Telephone bidding will still allow you to bid live. On the day of the sale a member of the Iconic Auctioneers team will contact you, usually a few lots prior to your selected lots, and will guide you through the process relaying the auctioneer’s bids to you and bidding on your behalf on your instruction. You can also leave a commission bid in the event that we are unable to contact you via telephone. You can register in person when viewing the lots prior to the auction, via our website or by emailing bid@iconicauctioneers.com Online bidding You can bid live online on the day via our website. You will need to register an account at iconicauctioneers. com and click on ‘Register to bid live’. In order to bid online you will need to upload valid payment card details. If you are the successful bidder a payment on account of £500 will automatically be taken on the fall of the hammer. DOCUMENTATION You can inspect the motorcycle files at our documents desk at the auction. We recommend you inspect the paperwork prior to bidding to satisfy yourself as to the completeness of any history files, spares etc. SALEROOM NOTICES A saleroom notice is issued when a pertinent change in the information provided on an item is made after the catalogue is finalised and published. If a lot has a saleroom notice, this will be displayed on the individual
