4 Please note – admission to the Auction Hall and Viewing Area is by catalogue only. Catalogues will be available to purchase at the auction for £20, each catalogue admits two. KEY SALE INFORMATION PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 20th May 2024. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted, and we do not accept AMEX. COLLECTION All vehicles must be removed from the venue between 9am and 2pm on Monday 20th May. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released. A member of the administration team will contact you to confirm your transport plans after the auction. If we do not hear back from you by 9am on Monday 20th May, we will arrange for our transport partner to collect the vehicle on your behalf. Any cars not collected by 2pm on Monday 20th May will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £175 + VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 + VAT per day from the Monday onwards. Automobilia: Automobilia can be collected from the auction hall on the day of the sale or on Monday morning between 9.30am and 12pm by prior arrangement. After this time, it can be collected from our offices in Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense. VIEWING Viewing is available at Sywell Aerodrome, Northampton, NN6 0BN. Friday 17th May - 10am to 4pm (No Supercar Fest ticket required). Saturday 18th May - 9.30am until the auction commences. AUCTIONS Saturday 18th May - 10am Automobilia Sale Saturday 18th May - 12 noon Iconic and Classic Car Sale Saturday 18th May - 6pm Timed Online Automobilia Sale The auctioneer will aim to sell approximately 60 automobilia lots per hour, and 25 vehicles per hour. SHOW TICKETS Customers wishing to attend the Auction on the Saturday require a ticket to Supercar Fest’s wider show. Show tickets can be purchased via the Supercar Fest website supercarfest.co.uk . BUYER’S PREMIUM Like the majority of auction houses, Iconic Auctioneers charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motor vehicles is 12.5% plus VAT (15% including VAT) on the first £300,000 of the hammer price and 10% plus VAT (12% including VAT) on the balance thereafter. Automobilia is 20% plus VAT (24% including VAT) and number plates are 10% plus VAT (12% including VAT). VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import VAT on the hammer price and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT-registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges.
