2 The Silverstone Classic Live Online Auction 2020 Ways to bid Please note - we are anticipating high levels of registrations for the sale. Please register using your preferred method as soon as possible, at least 48 hours before the sale, to allow sufficient time for your registration to be processed. Commission bid A commission bid is the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to (excluding the buyers premium and VAT). We will execute your bid as low as possible on your behalf. You can register via our website or by emailing bid@silverstoneauctions.com Telephone bidding Telephone bidding will still allow you to bid live. On the day of the sale a member of the Silverstone Auctions team will contact you, usually a few lots prior to your selected lots, and will guide you through the process. You can also leave a commission bid in the event that we are unable to contact you via telephone. You can register via our website or by emailing bid@silverstoneauctions.com Online Bidding Silverstone Auctions has partnered with Proxibid and The Saleroom to allow you to bid live on the sale day from anywhere. Please note that online bidding incurs an additional fee of 1% plus VAT. Auction timetable The auctions will commence at 11am on Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August. We will have a 15 minute break on both days from 14:45pm – 15:00pm. The auction will re-commence after this brief pause.
