45 + buyer’s premium of 15% plus VAT (18% incl VAT) • The Special cruiser model was introduced in 1978 with the Special-II arriving in 1979/80 • In addition to the obvious pullback bars and a teardrop tank, the Special differed from the Standard with significant changes to the rear suspension • Standards used a 2.15/18” rear wheel, whereas on the Specials a wide 16” rear wheel was used and shock mounts were changed to angle the shocks further off the vertical. Both changes were made to achieve a ‘cruiser’ styling with the resultant changes to handling • Dating from 1980, this Special-II has covered an indicated 22,317 miles and does not appear to have been restored at any point • Fitted with a new battery and we understand is now running although will need recommissioning before road use or could form the basis of a street tracker/Café bike • Supplied with its current V5C, some service history and older MOTs An unrestored example of this popular 1980s, twin-cylinder custom/cruiser.
