The Shuttleworth Summer Motorcycle Sale 2024

WELCOME Welcome to Shuttleworth. We are delighted to be back at this working aeronautical and automotive venue for our third auction here. We invite you to explore the historic hangars where over 170 motorcycles will be displayed for viewing. This catalogue showcases all of the motorcycles in the auction, with further details and more imagery on our website. Our team of motorcycle specialists have curated a superb catalogue, filled with desirable machines charting over a century of motorcycle manufacturing from a 103-year- old James Model 8 to a 2023 Triumph Rocket 3R which has never been ridden. With estimates from no reserve to £40,000 there is something for everyone. Further highlights include not one but four Ducati 916 Senna models, a fitting tribute in this the 30th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s death. From the 1980s is one of the rarest Kawasaki Z1000s in existence, the Z1000H Fuel Injection model. Whilst from the 70s are two Puch Grand Prix Specials which in their time were expensive 49cc learner-legal mopeds that were quicker than their nearest period competition. All the motorcycles will be available for viewing and inspection on Saturday 13th July from 10am – 5pm and from 10am on Sunday morning until the auction commences. Here you will be able to view the motorcycles in person as well as their associated history files prior to bidding. You will also be able to chat to our team of motorcycle experts who will be able to answer any queries you may have. The auction will commence at 11am on Sunday 14th July. Bidding for the sale will be available in person, or if you are unable to join us on the day of the auction, we offer three absentee bidding options: online, by phone or via commission. Please contact us on +44 (0)1926 691 141 or bid@iconicauctioneers.com to register prior to the auction, which will also be live streamed on our website and YouTube channel. If you join us on either day, you will get complimentary access to explore the Swiss Garden, grounds and of course, the outstanding private Collection which spans six hangars and features the oldest flying aircraft in the world.
