The Shuttleworth Spring Motorcycle Sale 2024 Motorcycles 12 • The Norton 16H was produced from the early 1900s with a 490cc engine until the early 1950s • This example was re-fitted with a 1940 633cc ‘Big 4’ engine during its time with the MOD • With its reliable side-valve engine with good torque, it became very popular as a sidecar puller • Widely used in WWII by the British and Russian forces due to its ease of use, low maintenance and fuel economy • This ex-MOD example is presented in older restored condition and in running order • Registered for the road in Birmingham in April 1946 after being decommissioned • Complete with history file containing old RF60 logbook, VMCC dating letter, old photos, receipts and old handbook • Great example with good history Ex-WWII Norton 16H fitted with a ‘Big 4’ engine.
