242 The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 Motorcycles Lot 489 1958 Norton Triton 500cc •Originally built some 35 years ago before being stored in the, then, owners bedroom, with just 100 miles recorded •500cc Triumph with multi-fin T100 barrels on a T5 bottom end with twin-carb head • The next keeper stripped the engine which he described, at the time, as being ‘like brand new’ • For rideability, he also exchanged the 10:1 pistons fitted for 7:1.
