228 The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 Motorcycles Lot 461 1971 Suzuki T500 492cc • Introduced in 1968 and aimed very much at the US four-stroke twin market •Developed from the 250cc T20 and expanded into a fearsome 500cc twin- cylinder, two-stroke, 6-speed sports machine • Lightweight, powerful and capable of speeds in excess of 100mph • This very smart example has been restored to its current condition and finished in Candy Purple •Still maintaining a lot of its original features including exhaust and rims • Forming part of a private Collection for the last few years so will require some recommissioning before use •Small history file included containing some old invoices, two old MOTs and associated paperwork •UK-registered on a current V5C Nicely restored UK-supplied T500.
