222 The NEC Classic Motor Show Sale 2023 Motorcycles Lot 449 1936 Rudge Ulster 499cc •Well-known for the four-valve cylinder head made famous by Graham Winning’s win in the Ulster Grand Prix at an average 80mph • The Rudge Ulster was basically a race bike on the road and capable of 100mph, quite a feat in 1928 for a 500cc single • This older restoration is presented in good overall condition •Not run for a while so will require some recommissioning before use • Engine turns ok with good compression •History file included containing copy books, some receipts and what appears to be an original parts book •UK-registered on a current V5C An older restored example of the famous bronze-head Rudge Ulster.
