The May Live Auction 2020 2 Key Sale Information BUYER’S PREMIUM Buyer’s premium on motor vehicles and automobilia is 12% (including VAT at 20%). Silverstone Auctions use the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2) meaning VAT cannot be split out on the invoice and cannot be claimed by UK VAT registered businesses or individuals. Please note that online bidding incurs an additional surcharge of 1% plus VAT. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Tuesday 26th May 2020 and should be made by bank transfer. Payments made prior to this date will not show in our bank account until the Tuesday morning due to the bank holiday. COLLECTION Full payment must be received before any item is available to be released. Vehicles can be collected from our central storage location between Wednesday 27th May and Friday 29th May. The health and safety of our team and customers remains our priority, we are operating to strict COVID-19 guidelines so you will need to book an appointment to arrange collection of your vehicle.
