8 The London Motorcycle Show Sale 2023 Lot 105 c.1959/61 BSA A10 Super Rocket/ Golden Flash 646cc • Recently restored to a high standard with no expense spared, and finished in its original red over chrome • GA7.18243 was an A10 Super Rocket shipped out on 29/03/1961 • DA10.6488 is the engine from an A10 Golden Flash despatched on 23/04/1959 • Will require a degree of running-in post- restoration and some adjustments and tuning will be required • Recommissioned parts with invoices include a speedometer, complete magneto overhaul and complete dynamo service • Other important invoices include new carburettor, main bearings, brake shoes, HT leads, clutch/brake cables, oil seals and new bolts/washers/nuts throughout - the total sum of invoices being over £2,000 • A good combination of two classic BSAs.
