38 The London Motorcycle Show Sale 2023 Lot 159 1966 Triumph Bonneville TT Special 650cc • Introduced for the US-market in the early 1960s for off-road competition • Technically it was a T120C with an option package called the “TT Special” • Basically a stripped down T120C with model-specific pipes (TT pipes), no lights, ET ignition, no speedo and high- compression pistons • This US import is in mostly original and unrestored condition • Correctly finished in Alaskan White with Grenadier Red stripes • One of only 1,300 produced in 1966 • A matching numbers example that’s UK- registered on a current V5C • Running recently but may require some recommissioning before road use Iconic Triumph Bonneville TT ‘dirt-track’ racer.
