20 The London Motorcycle Show Sale 2023 Lot 127 1959 Norton Café Racer 30M 490cc • Manx Nortons dominated circuit racing Worldwide from the late 1940s to the early 1960s • This road-going version is based on a 1959 Norton ‘featherbed’ frame, and is fitted with a brand new Patrick Walker- built 490cc engine • Also fitted is a road-spec Atlas gearbox and Grimeca TLS front brake drum • 12-volt electrics and fitted with a solenoid decompressor • Manx-style alloy fuel tank and alloy rims also fitted • In running order but may require some recommissioning before road use • UK-registered on a V5C Road-going 490cc Norton Café Racer.
