The term “Fastback” was adopted by the factory when other models were introduced • 745cc Norton Atlas engine (9.0:1 comp ratio) with twin 930-series Amal Concentric carbs • Engine rebuilt by John Findlay in an older restoration by a previous owner • Not matching numbers. Odometer currently reads 16,853 miles. MOT history back to 8,735 miles in 2002 • Several replaced or uprated parts include stainless steel wheels, petrol tank, Boyer ignition and a single-carb conversion • More recent maintenance history with invoices for electrics and other consumable parts • Attractive bike which runs and rides, we are told, with no known faults First year of production example of the 750 Commando pre-unit parallel-twin.
