The Iconic Sale at Race Retro 20th-22nd February 2026
WELCOME It is our great pleasure to welcome you to our first auction of 2026. We are delighted to return to Hall 1 at Stoneleigh, where more than 150 cars and160 motorcycles will be presented for sale across an exciting weekend of auctions. As always, our team has carefully curated an exceptional and diverse catalogue, from race- winning competition cars and a MotoGP motorcycle, to iconic vehicles from television and film, alongside an outstanding selection of highly desirable collectors’ cars. The weekend begins on Friday 20th at 11am with our Automobilia Sale, featuring over 400 lots. Highlights include registration plates, original posters and one of the most comprehensive single-vendor collections offered in recent years - the Robin Haigh Collection. Comprising of more than 350 pieces of museum- quality automobilia signage, the majority offered without reserve, this remarkable collection presents a rare opportunity for collectors. On Saturday, proceedings commence at 10.30am with the Competition Car Sale, followed by the Collectors’ Cars from 1pm. Among the highlights are a 1972 Ford Capri Mk1 3000E owned by the late Jack Sears, a 1972 Ford Capri RS2600 Le Mans Classic class winner, and a Nissan R35 GT-R race car campaigned by Schulze Motorsport and driven by Kazunori Yamauchi to Nürburgring 24 Hours class victory. We are also pleased to present four cars direct from TV presenter Richard Hammond, along with two film cars — including a vehicle from Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning , driven by Tom Cruise. The Motorcycle Sale concludes the weekend from 11am on Sunday 22nd, with over 160 classic, modern and retro machines crossing the block. These include a superb collection of early Vincents and a 2020 factory Aprilia RS-GP 20 MotoGP race bike from the 2020 season, raced by Aleix Espargaró and offered directly from him.
