The Iconic Sale at Supercar Fest 17th May 2025
26 The Iconic Sale at Supercar Fest 2025 Cars The car culture in Japan is globally renowned for its passion for modification, enthusiasm for all cars and unbridled ability to push the boat out. Throughout the 1990s, the tuner culture truly exploded in the Japanese car world with (now) infamous garages, workshops and brands popping up and growing notoriety such as Smokey Nagata’s ‘Top Secret’, Akira Nakai’s ‘RWB’ and brands/factions such as Nismo, Blitz, HKS and others. Endless-R has built a stellar reputation for their expertise in tuning, especially when it comes to the iconic Nissan GT-R. A proud member of the elite RH9 group, Endless-R is widely recognized for their cutting-edge performance builds, both on the drag strip and the circuit. With frequent appearances in automotive publications and a catalogue of original parts, they’ve earned their place at the top of the tuning world. This particular R32 Skyline GT-R showcases Endless-R’s prowess. Believed to be commissioned by a client who also owns a rare R34 Nismo Z-Tune, the goal wasn’t just to emulate the Z-Tune’s visual presence, but also to achieve comparable performance. Endless-R accepted the challenge, crafting a car that not only pays homage to the Z-Tune but also holds its own against it. The transformation began with the engine. Endless-R replaced the factory internals with high performance components including a billet forged trust crankshaft rated for over 1,000bhp, HKS 87mm step II forged pistons and trust H-section connecting rods. To prevent oil starvation under high-G forces, a high-flow oil pump and a custom Endless 9-litre sump extension were added, ensuring reliability at the limit. Boosting performance further, the upgraded engine powers twin Garrett turbochargers fed by high flow intakes. Compressed air travels through trust intercooler piping and a front-mount intercooler before reaching the custom Endless-R intake plenum. Exhaust gases exit through a Tomei titanium downpipe and cat-back system, delivering both visual appeal and an exhilarating soundtrack. A key upgrade is the R34 GT-R’s 6-speed transmission which, when paired with the boosted displacement and turbos, transforms the driving experience. The typically laggy RB26 now delivers immediate, torque-rich power throughout the rev range, making acceleration a visceral experience. To handle the newfound speed, Endless-R installed Brembo R35 GT-R front brakes with matching rears for consistent, high performance stopping power. Quantum coilovers, tuned through extensive track testing, provide precision handling and balance. Additionally, seam and spot-welding reinforce the chassis, mimicking the rigidity of the Nismo Z-Tune. Despite the performance focus, aesthetics were not overlooked. The exterior is finished in factory KY0 Silver, just like the Z-Tune and adorned with rare components, creating a showstopping presence. With demand for classic JDM icons surging, this R32 GT-R by Endless-R stands out as a rare, collector-quality example. Often overshadowed by the R34, this build proves the R32 is equally deserving of legendary status and opportunities to own one at this level are exceedingly rare. The original supercar killer, rightfully earning the title ‘Godzilla ‘, this very special R32 GT-R benefits from a host of period upgrades by Endless-R and is offered without Reserve.
