Widely known for his work on For the Love of Cars, Master Mechanic and Wheeler Dealer s, Ant Anstead has come back to his British roots to buy, restore and sell an eclectic selections of cars. Ant has been building bespoke cars since he was a kid, building on this childhood passion into an internationally recognised reputation for the very highest levels of automotive design and engineering. Ant started building bespoke classic vehicles to individual client specifications and has an international waiting list exceeding two years. Ant creates true works of art and has built an enviable reputation supplying cars and artworks to museums, private collections and enthusiasts all around the world. But in this new series he is going back to basics - he’s converted a rustic tumble down barn into a workshop and with the help of friends and family he’s doing what he loves best - restoring classic cars, including a Jaguar XJS Convertible, a Triumph Dolomite Sprite and a Volkswagen Type 2 Devon Camper Van. And while, when it comes to the location, this might be a return to basics for Ant, his forensic attention to detail and master mechanic levels of excellence will shine through in each and every car.
