With just 500 examples produced, it combined the model’s distinctive coupé styling with the smooth, characterful 2.9-litre VR6 engine, complemented by BBS alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats and unique Storm detailing. Available in just two colour combinations with 250 finished in Classic Green and 250 in Mystic Blue, the Storm has become one of the most sought-after versions of Volkswagen’s much-admired sporting coupé.
