BUYER’S PREMIUM Like the majority of auction houses, Iconic Auctioneers charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motorcycles is 15% plus VAT (18% including VAT). Automobilia is 20% plus VAT (24% including VAT). ADMINISTRATION FEE An administration fee is payable by the buyer of £20 plus VAT per motorcycle . Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import VAT on the hammer price and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT-registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 20th April 2026. Payment should be made by bank transfer where possible. Motorcycles can be collected from Hangar 4, Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9EP on Monday 20th April between 9am and 2pm. Our motorcycle transport partner, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.
