Initial response was slightly uncertain as Mustangs were known for being unequivocally American and left-hand drive only as part of their charm, but safe to say the Mustang has been adopted into the UK car world with open arms ever since with its huge power for very reasonable money. Built to rival its European counterparts such as the BMW M4 Convertible, Porsche 911 Cabriolet and Audi RS5 Cabriolet, the Mustang offered things very few could match, rear-wheel drive sports car with a naturally aspirated V8 paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, all at an accessible price point. Under the bonnet lies Ford’s own 5-litre Coyote V8 putting out 450bhp and 410lb/ft of torque. 0–60mph takes just 4.6 seconds and it tops out at an electronically limited 155mph. This particular car is essentially brand new, with only 32.5 miles on the odometer, at the time of cataloguing and just one registered keeper from new. It is a UK-spec right-hand drive 5.0 GT that was simply never used, presented in Carbonized Grey Metallic over a black leather interior.
