70 The Iconic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 Automobilia Charity Lot: Selection of Motorsport Related Images and Prints, Framed and Signed by Various Motorsport Luminaries All proceeds donated to charity. 301 Offered Without Reserve 1985 European Grand Prix Multi-Signed Chequered Flag Used at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix, the flag was subsequently signed by all the drivers on the grid and presented to the director of the track, Mike Debono, a few years later as a retirement gift. Signatures include Nigel Mansell (this was his maiden Formula 1 victory), Ayrton Senna, Keke Rosberg, Alain Prost, Elio de Angelis, Thierry Boutsen among others. 302 Estimate: £5,000 - £6,000 Large Framed and Glazed Chequered Flag Signed by Five Formula 1 World Champions The flag is mounted, framed and glazed with etched plaque and pictures of each driver and measures 76cm x 72cm. 303 Estimate: £450 - £500 Michael Schumacher-Signed Italian Grand Prix 1998 Champagne Bottle Presented with a Certificate of Authenticity from Sabelt confirming that this was the Moët Chandon bottle presented to the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion on the top step of the podium at the Monza Grand Prix in 1998. Signed by both Michael and John Todt and offered with a plaque, magazines, photographs and an official programme from the event. 304 Estimate: £2,500 - £3,000 The Fred G Craner Trophy, Solid Silver Circa 1890 A significant motorsport trophy with a fascinating pedigree. As an ex Isle of Man TT competitor and Secretary of The Derby & District Motor Club, Fred kindly donated two trophies in 1950 to be presented to the year’s outstanding competitor on two or four wheels with the trophy offered here being of the two wheel variety. Winners include Phil Read, Mike Hailwood and Ron Haslam etc. 305 Estimate: £7,000 - £10,000 Ford DFV Formula 1 V8 Engine Block and Sump Presented with a letter from Frank Williams dated 11th August 1976 on Walter Wolf Racing headed paper. The Ford Cosworth DFV is the most successful Formula 1 engine ever. Between 1967 and 1983 it powered cars to 155 Grand Prix victories, 12 Drivers’ and ten Constructors Championships (Damaged). 306 Estimate: £800 - £1,000 Very Large ‘Ferrari Under the Skin’ Exhibition London Underground Promotional Poster Measuring 152cm x 102cm, the giant vinyl poster publicises the fascinating ‘Ferrari Under the Skin’ exhibition held at the Design Museum, Kensington from November 2017 until 15th April 2018. 307 Estimate: £500 - £600 Acrylic on Canvas Steve McQueen Image from the Film Bullitt A street scene from the classic 1960s film set in San Francisco, McQueen as cool as ever.
