The Iconic & Classic Sales at Silverstone Festival 22nd-24th August 2025

WELCOME It is our great pleasure to welcome you to The Iconic Sale and our inaugural Classic Sale at the Silverstone Festival, an event that stands proudly as the jewel in our crown of our annual auction calendar. Over the years, this prestigious weekend has played host to numerous record-breaking sales, and we are delighted to present another exceptional line-up of lots for 2025. This marks our 15th year as the official auction partner of the Silverstone Festival and this must be our biggest and best catalogue to date. Our home for the weekend is in Halls 1, 2 & 3 of The Wing building, where more than 450 carefully curated lots will be on display for you to explore and enjoy. This year’s programme includes: A Competition Car and Motorcycle Sale on Friday 22nd, followed by an Automobilia and Collectors’ Car Sale on Saturday 23rd and a Classic Sale on Sunday 24th August. Within this catalogue, you’ll discover a remarkable selection of items, from race-winning competition cars and rare grand tourers to more attainable classics for the passionate enthusiast. There truly is something for every collector. To highlight just a few gems: Friday’s Competition Car Sale features an array of Group A and FIA-eligible vehicles, many of which were piloted by motorsport legends such as Barry Sheene, Colin McRae, and Andy Rouse. The Motorcycle Sale includes standout lots such as a Carl Fogarty replica Ducati and an Innocenti Lambretta once owned by Liam Gallagher of Oasis fame. Motoring collectibles start the proceedings on Saturday with a range of artworks, watches, and registration numbers. Be sure to view these exceptional pieces upstairs on the Mezzanine in Hall1. Whilst the Collectors’ Car Sale, also on Saturday, has an extraordinary array of vehicles, from a rare manual 1966 Aston Martin DB6 Mk1 Vantage to a one-of- one TVR T440. There is also a huge selection of low mileage cars, many with sub 1,000 miles which would make a fitting addition to any collection. The weekend concludes on Sunday with The Classic Sale, featuring an eclectic mix of classic, modern, and retro cars. Viewing of all the lots is available daily from 9am on Friday 22nd. We encourage you to take this opportunity to examine the vehicles and accompanying history files in person. Our team of knowledgeable specialists will be on hand to assist you and answer any questions. Additional photographs and videos are also available online at iconicauctioneers.com .
