With 140bhp and 155lb/ft of torque on tap from its magnificently smooth and sonorous V8, the Daimler was capable of 115mph • This handsome example was registered new by Steels of Bristol Ltd and it’s accompanied by the original service book and host of previous MOT certificates with some dating back to the late 1970s • Presented smartly here in Opalescent Silver Grey with red leather, the interior appears original except perhaps for the headlining and is all the better for it, the rich 1960s leather scent being near impossible to replicate •Currently displaying just under 40,000 miles on the odometer, this would make a great entry level classic at about half the cost of the equivalent Mk2 Jaguar Smart pre-facelift V8 classically presented in Opalescent Silver Grey over red leather.
