Bought from an Infiniti U.K. 353 Charity Ball auction in February 2013. 465 Estimate: £300 - £350 A Pair of Colin McRae Prototype K-Swiss Racing Boots Believed to be the only pair produced for Colin’s approval but did not go into production. From the vendor: ‘Following his WRC drivers title win, Colin had various sponsorship deals, including one with K-Swiss, an American athletic shoe brand based in LA. In c.2005, he received this pair of prototype racing shoes to consider the style for a specific release’. 466 Estimate: £700 - £800 Multi-Signed 2007 Race of Champions Jacket Following the untimely passing of Colin, as a tribute, this jacket which he should have worn for the Race of Champions was signed by many of the other participants. The boots are a size 43, in perfect condition, and feature the label on the inside ‘Ferrari Official Produkt. Not to be confused with cheap replica’s, these are an official Ferrari piece signed by possibly the most famous Ferrari driver in history. 468 Estimate: £900 - £1,100 Colin McRae Race Overalls from Early 1999 Martini-sponsored suit dated 02/1999 on the collar label and showing slight signs of wear. This race suit is purported to have been worn at the 1995 World Rally Champion at the Rallye de France Tour de Corse (finishing 4th) and the Rallye de San Remo (where he retired after an accident) during the 1999 season. 469 Estimate: £8,000 - £10,000 Colin McRae and Nicky Grist Signed Helmets Nicky’s helmet was used by him in WRC events, Colin’s is a reproduction painted by his personal artist. The McRae helmet was a prize on Talk Sport and was painted by Colin’s helmet painter and signed by the Rally World Champion. It has the prize winners letter to authenticate it.
