You will however require a wristband and car parking pass. Please see overleaf (page 6) for detailed auction entry instructions. Admission to the Auction Hall is with a Catalogue, available to purchase on the day for £10 (admits two). BUYER’S PREMIUM Like the majority of auction houses Iconic Auctioneers charge a buyer’s premium. Our buyer’s premium charge for motor vehicles is 12.5% plus VAT (15% including VAT) and Automobilia is 20% plus VAT (24% including VAT). ADMINISTRATION FEE An administration fee of £50 plus VAT per vehicle is payable by the buyer to cover money laundering checks, vehicle data checks, processing of V5Cs, payment processing fees etc. VAT Some lots may be subject to UK VAT or import VAT on the hammer price and buyer’s premium. These lots will be clearly marked in the catalogue. All other lots will be sold using the Auctioneers Margin Scheme (VAT Notice 718/2). VAT will not be charged on the hammer price. The VAT on the buyer’s premium will not be split out on the invoice and cannot be reclaimed by UK VAT- registered businesses or individuals. Further duties and VAT may be applicable on exporting lots from the UK. It is the responsibility of the buyer to settle these charges. PAYMENTS All payments are due by 5pm on Monday 31st August. Card payments can be made (in person only) as follows: debit card payments up to £20,000 and credit card up to £5,000. Cash payments are not permitted and we do not accept AMEX. COLLECTION Vehicles must be collected from The Wing, Silverstone on Monday 31st August between 9am and 2pm. Please note that due to restrictions we need to be clear of the venue by 2pm on Monday 31st August. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released. A member of the administration team will contact you by email to confirm your transport plans after the auction. If we do not hear back from you by 12noon on Monday 31st August, we will arrange for our transport partner to collect the vehicle on your behalf. Any cars not collected by 2pm on Monday 31st August will be taken to EM Rogers storage facility in Northampton for a fee of £205 plus VAT for a standard sized vehicle and £275 plus VAT for larger vehicles. Storage will be charged at £12 plus VAT per day from the Monday for the first 14 days and £40 +VAT per week from there on.
