122 The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 iconicauctioneers.com •Developed jointly by Audi and Porsche, the RS2 combined a turbocharged 2.2-litre, 20-valve five-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual gearbox and quattro four-wheel drive, establishing the template for Audi’s subsequent RS models • Finished in Ragusa Green Metallic, this example was supplied new by AFN Isleworth Audi and retains its original book pack, including the handbook and service book, fully stamped up to 2008 and 133,983 miles • Purchased by its late owner in 2015 and subsequently entrusted to respected Audi specialists VRS Performance of Northampton for an extensive performance build • The 2.2-litre five-cylinder engine was completely stripped and rebuilt with forged pistons and connecting rods, together with a reworked cylinder head, uprated turbocharger, intercooler, fuelling, induction, exhaust and engine-management systems. A nitrous oxide system was also installed, with the completed package reportedly producing around 580bhp • The transmission and chassis received further supporting upgrades, whilst the cabin was fitted with front bucket seats and a half roll cage.
