THE CLASSIS SALE AT CARFEST 29th & 30th August 2026

WELCOME A very warm welcome to our Classic Sale at CarFest, Silverstone. It is wonderful to be back supporting CarFest, having hosted auctions when Chris Evans first launched the festival in 2012. As the UK’s largest family fundraising festival, CarFest raises millions each year for inspirational children’s charities, and we are proud to support that mission by donating a percentage of our auction takings. As always, our team has curated an exceptional catalogue of over 200 cars, spanning the pre-war era to sought-after modern classics. From Astras and Austins to Volkswagens and Volvos, from no reserve entries to standout examples estimated at £150,000, this Sale is designed to appeal to every taste, marque enthusiast and budget. Hot hatch enthusiasts are especially well catered for, with over 20 examples, from a 2015 Abarth Biposto Rosso Officine with just 4,802 miles to a 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet (Mk1) from its original owner. Ant Anstead of Born Mechanic returns on Saturday to auction four cars restored in his workshop ahead of Series 3. We have arranged special entry for auction visitors, so no CarFest ticket is required. Full details on the required car park pass and wristband for auction-only access can be found on page 6. Please note there is no access to the wider CarFest event unless you have a valid CarFest ticket. Viewing is available from 9am on Friday 28 th , Saturday 29 th and Sunday 30 th , giving you time to inspect the cars, study the history files and speak with our knowledgeable specialists. The auction commences at 11am on both Saturday and Sunday. For those unable to attend in person, we offer a range of convenient remote bidding options, with full details in the Buyer’s Guide on page 5. The Sale will also be livestreamed via the Iconic Auctioneers website homepage and YouTube channel, allowing you to participate wherever you are. On behalf of the entire team, thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you.
