Launched in 1948, along with the smaller-engined Sunbeam Talbot 80, many features dated back to the successful pre-war Sunbeam Talbot 2-Litre. The streamlined body was completely new and available as a four-door saloon or two-door Drophead Coupé. • The Mk II got a new chassis with independent front suspension using coil springs. The cylinder head was changed to incorporate overhead valves and now offered 70bhp • First registered in 1951, the vehicle remained in the Sheffield area until moving to London in 1987 where it was purchased by the neighbour of our vendor who then purchased it in 2017 •We understand that the engine was rebuilt in 2003.
