46 Motorcycle Sale Saturday 14th May 2022 | 12 noon Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling Sale 2022 • Twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, two-stroke, three speed gearbox, central primary chain and rigid duplex frame • After WW2, Flying Squirrels were fitted with Dowty telescopic ‘pump-up’ front forks, however, a few early machines were built using Webb’s more traditional girder fork (as this example) • Owned by the late Jeff Clew and featured in his book “The Yowling Two-Stroke” • An older restoration that’s been very well maintained. Fitted with a new radiator and very rare horn cover • May require some recommissioning before road use. Engine turns over with good compression • Various receipts, articles, RF60, old MOTs and a VMCC date letter.
