This is an exciting new venue for Silverstone Auctions and the historic RAF exhibits create a dramatic setting in which to hold our first auction of 2022. We have a superb collection of classic, collector and competition cars being offered up for sale on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March, all of them showcased within this catalogue. More in-depth descriptions and additional photographs are on our website and can be accessed directly by scanning the QR code next to each lot. Amongst the classic cars offered for auction is a delightfully elegant 1937 Jawa A-700, one of just two known examples still on the road today and the only one in the UK. We have Adrian Newey’s ground-breaking 1988 Leyton House March F1, which changed the shape of F1 cars forever. All the cars will be available for viewing from 12pm-6pm on Thursday 3rd March, 9am-6pm on Friday 4th March and from 9am on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March and this is your opportunity to inspect the vehicles and any associated history files prior to bidding. Our team of car specialists will also be on hand to assist you during this time and to answer any questions you may have. On both Saturday and Sunday morning at 10.30am we have a sale of automobilia, and the car sales follow at 2pm. Bidding will be available in person, or alternatively we offer three absentee bidding options; online, by phone or via commission.
